Removable bollards have an advantage over permanent bollards because they can be easily removed to create an access path, when necessary, while still offering bollard protection when in place. Sinomatic's new bollard can be easily and quickly removed and replaced by a single individual to provide emergency or occasional access.
The removable bollards 220/RM 600 and 220/RM 800 are typically used to prevent the parking of unauthorized vehicles, transit and access by unauthorized vehicles in driveways, and protection of shatter-proof windows. Because of the removal procedure, it is recommended to choose the removable bollards only if the amount of daily movements is limited (otherwise the automatic bollards should be used) or when the installation depth does not allow for the installation of the automatic bollards.
